Many people are told their breathing discomfort is just part of a “recovery phase.”
That the body will “sort itself out.”
But for a lot of people, that waiting period turns into months or years of discomfort.
Why?
Because when mucus lingers too long, the lungs don’t always clear it efficiently on their own — especially after repeated exposure to smoke, pollution, illness, or dry air.
Waiting doesn’t always mean healing.
Sometimes, it just means nothing changes.
